First, this project is a cooperation between me and my friend, Ali Samy. The project is a controlled robot with a mobile application installed on
people's devices. The robot will move in all directions scanning the area
according to the orders it gets from the mobile application. Suppose it
found an abnormal signal for sound, temperature, smoke, humidity, or
flame. It will send notifications to the mobile app then the user will use the
camera to see why the robot sends messages.
The camera will be fixed on
a servo motor so the user could rotate it in 360 degrees to view the
environment that surrounds the robot. The ultrasonic sensor will be fixed
in front of the robot. If there is an obstacle the robot will collide with, the
robot will automatically stop and change its direction. The solution allows
us to control and monitor what happens more efficiently.
Our project aims
to protect stores, malls, factories, and houses from fires, cases of theft, and
work as childcare by providing a full view of the environment we put it in.
For AI, we would create a web site shows an interaction GPS, which
would predict where and when fires and gas leaks happen. The robot's
function here is to scan several areas and provide our website with the
updated new information. The robot and the mobile application are connected to a Firebase server. The robot sends the data to the server, and the mobile application fetches the data from the server and presents it to the user.
